I like this girl and we are really good friends, she has a bf, but is gonna break up with him this summer, should i tell her i like her or hold off till after the summer?

She tells me everything, and said she did not like him anymore and just decided to wait, so he would not be hurt during the school year

Wait for the break up be a shoulder to cry on, give her some time ( don't want to be the rebound guy), then make your move.
But you need to ask yourself why is she waiting and not breaking up with him now?

I would definitely wait. Try and also make sure she feels the same way. When a close friend has feelings for one, if the other one does not feel it, it strains the relationship a bit. You can still be friends, but the one who isn't on the same page, starts questioning their actions, they talk and treat you differently so as to not give different signals that could be taken a different way.
I had some friends make moves on me and I still loved them to death as friends, but was careful what I said around them, etc. It did not ruin friendships but made the chemistry different.

Be honest with her now- it'll give her time to think but don't fall into being the re-bound bf. Give her time to get over him- oh, btw- no one really plans that far ahead to break up with someone that far in advance- I truly think she's using him for something (unless she can't reach him till the summer) so if I were you- I'd do my homework.

It's only March!! She's waiting till summer to break up with him?? Why not get it over with? She sounds cruel and heartless to be stringing him along for so long.

I would hold off untill the summer because if she is going to break up with her boyfriend, she probly won't be ready to be in a relationship.
