How can you add the accent mark thing above letters when typing? (such as the e in Beyonce or Bon Appetit?)

Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Character Map

That will give you all the codes you need to type, or you can select a character and copy and paste it.

(Alt+0233 is é by the way.)

Beyonce' Like that? Easy. With your right hand pinky finger, hit the key just to the right of the key your pinky is resting on, , it's to the left of the enter key. lower case. Bon Appetit'. Hope this helps you.
