Courtney,
You can pray for them to bring them back.
Don't preach, pray. God hears you, he really does!
God bless you hon,

God is imaginary.
There is no presence other than in your imagination. There is no goodness - it just doesn't happen. Why on earth would you believe so?
Some people realise this and do the decent thing.
Stop pretending. Accept the reality. Grow up. Discard the childish ideas. Be a real human.
"Imagine no religion - It's easy if you try" (John Lennon)

How do you know they gave up on God anyways? How do you define God's presence and goodness anyhow if you haven't experienced it firsthand, even then how would you know it was God's presence and goodness? You should confirm with your parents whether or not they've given up.

Why don't you ask them?
Any answer you may receive here won't be what you're really looking for. I suggest you sit down with your parents and ask them why they chose to leave the faith. Did they really give up on God? Or did they find another way of serving him, something that felt right to them?
Even if people give up on God, I don't think God would give up on people.
So just ask them, their answer might surprise you, and help you understand your parents better. Just remember to really listen after you ask the question ;)

The first answerer was being unnecessarily rude.
In our postmodern world, feelings of goodness and spiritual experiences have been relegated to the realm of personal experiences. They no longer are considered to have any bearing on what is real, concrete, or knowable. That's why, for most people, "feeling" God's presence is not proof of His existence. It's fuzzy and subjective.

It's all very emotional. People either believe in God or they don't depending on their emotions, it has nothing to do with fact.
Even though there is no god, people should be allowed to believe in it if they wish.
Those who did but have stopped, likely they got tired of all the hooplah.

They are not faithful enough plus they saw the light and realized that their teachings are a bunch of garbage.

Perhaps they realized that the goodness and light came from within, that evil hides under his name and that prayer was useless.

Satan knows how to tempt or harm us and this life can get pretty discouraging. They just need some reassurance, just pray that they may find the "light" again.
