rebooting from a CD?

i just got a linux CD and it says to reboot, how the hell do i do that?

reboot your computer and when your computer goes to a black screen before it says windows xp, or w/e, press F8, i believe or F12. then you should come to another screen and it should ask you how u want to boot up your computer.

Hi. If you have installed it just remove the CD and cycle the power.
