The Poconos Mountains are considered "the Honeymoon capital of the U.S." Caesars Poconos Resorts has the most lavish Honeymoon resort I've ever seen. They have couples-only resorts (so newlyweds don't have to tone down the PDA for the kiddies), with amenities including in-room spas, whirlpool bathtubs, heart-shaped beds, and giant champagne glass bathtubs. Additionally, the Poconos Mountains offers a lot of tourist attractions- skiing, horseback riding, golfing, and much more. Rooms at the Caesars Poconos Resorts run from $300+.

Well there really is tons of places that you could go for an amazing honeymoon in America. Of course there is the usual New York City, Niagara Falls, Hollywood, Disney World (anything in Orlando), Las Vegas, Grand Cannon, and of course Hawaii. And these are all great and amazing destinations. But for something really romantic I would try I few of these ideas. The beautiful islands of Cape Cod. The romantic Charleston, South Carolina. In North Caroline the Biltmore Estate is very beautiful, Some Vineyards in California. Napa Valley is amazing! I have been there a few times. My favorite destinations for a honeymoon, I would have to say is Massachusetts and Maine. Those states are so beautiful, and there full of culture and entertainment. Any of the States travel websites will give you details or websites to places you wanna go. And for my last idea, I know a couple who have did this and it just sounds romantic, They took there entire vacation and drove all across the country together and visited all of the Castles of America. They had picnics on the grounds and walks in the gardens. Now not a lot of people think of castles even in the the same sentence as America, but you would be amazed at how many, and how beautiful they are. Just google Castles of America and you ll find a list. So I hope I could help. I hope you guys find the right place for you two and I hope you have an amazing time. Congratulations!

You should of course go to someplace that you will both enjoy. If you cannot choose, each of you pick a couple of places you would love to go to, put them in a hat and each pick one until you can narrow it down to only two choices and go from there.
The most popular "Honeymoon" capital would be the Poconos in Pennsylvania, they have resorts which include, pools and heart shaped bathtubs and cabins with fireplaces and loads of outside activities as well as "Caesars Palace" themed shows, the scenery is beautiful any time of the year.
Another great choice would be Niagara Falls New York which is also considered a "Honeymoon" hot spot, also a lot of couples enjoy going to Florida for a "Disney Honeymoon" vacation.
As long as you start your Married Life off with a compromise of where you want to go you will enjoy yourselves no matter where you are!
Congratulations and Best Wishes to You and Your Fiance'.

Well...i do know Hawaii is a very nice place. Lemme tell you where u shud not go for a honeymoon. Places like Universal Studios in LA or Disney in Florida is no fun for a honeymoon. It is hot and very tiring by the time u finish enjoying the rides u forget all abt ur honeymoon. So go to any place where u can spend quality time just snoozing with ur spouse. Hav fun.

It depends on what time of year you will be honeymooning and what your interests are...
for example:
winter months & skiing - Colorado (almost any part)
summer months & swimming - Hawaii, Florida, California, Virginia
fall months & sightseeing - almost anywhere in the New England area (Maine, New York, Massachusetts, Washington DC, etc)
spring & quiet solitude for 2 - a cabin in almost any state (Missouri's Lake of the Ozarks area is really great for this)
Just think what you would like to do most, determine your budget, and go from there.

The Napa Valley in California is absolutely gorgeous and lots of fun.
You could tour the national parks in Utah; Canyonlands National Park is the most beautiful place I've ever been.
You could tour Washington DC, it's not the most romantic place in the country but everyone should see the capital and it's museums.
You could go to Orlando to Universal and Disney.
You could go to the Outerbanks for 10 days of relaxation on beautiful beaches. Hawaii is also supposed to have beautiful beaches.

Poconos is nice. Savannah, GA is said to be very romantic for a honeymoon. There's always Hawaii and Niagra Falls, too. Martha's Vineyard is beautiful.
Good luck, and congratulation on the wedding! :)
