Alright, i have a program that uses MDI type music. however, most of that music is not good for what I'm doing. I downloaded a song from Limewire to use instead, but it is an mp3 file, not a MDI file.

is there a way to convert mp3 files onto MIDI files?

I've found a program that offers a trial version of a mp3 to midi program. I can't report on it, but it'll give you a starting point. Hope this helps.
