Are you asking a scientific answer or a religious answer.
The scientific answer is that through evolution we have evolved from microsopic organisims into the hominids that we are today.
The religious(christian) answer is that on the sixth day of creation god created adam from the earth, then took a rib from him and with that made eve. So men are from the earth, women are from men.
