I always just use a q tip. If you don't have one take a tissue. Put it on your pinkie and put in ear! Do a few times.

Your local drugstore should carry ear cones, which are hollow candles that you insert into the affected ear and then light the other end. DON'T do this by yourself- have someone else monitor you. The heat inside the cone creates a vacuum-like suction that helps alleviate many ear problems, including swimmers ear.

Have you ever heard of sweet oil? Olive oil probable would do to. Warm a little up and put it on a cotton ball and put it in your ear. This works for ear aches to. Good Luck.

I've heard that the drops of alcohol really work. Give it a try. What you should not do is what was suggested first, which is to use a q-tip. That is very dangerous and you can get hurt and get a drum rupture, which will lead to loosing your hearing capacity. We are not supposed to put anything inside our ears.
