THE REAL PROBLEM HERE IS THAT USING WHITENING STRIPS OR OTHER METHODS WILL ONLY MAKE THOSE SPOTS STAND OUT MORE - LIKE HEADLIGHTS OF A CAR. FLOW-ABLE COMPOSITE OR PORCELAIN VENEERS CALLED LUMINEERS ARE THE TREATMENT OF CHOICE.

Bleaching. What basically happened is that when you had the braces on, some areas of your teeth started to break down from the bacteria that was left around the brackets (demineralization) too long. Your saliva was able to repair the breakdown (remineralization) and hence the white spots. Kind of like a scar.

You can either bleach your teeth or get veneers. Since you just went through ortho, I'd do the bleaching. Crest whitestrips might help. Just know that any kind of teeth whitening can make your teeth sensitive to cold. It usually only lasts a few weeks after you stop though.

I'm assuming you got your braces off and where the brackets where it's whiter. Unless you're referring to calcium deposits.

Either way, I'd have a dentist do the whitening if that can be done. I wouldn't do it myself at home as it may make the condition more pronounced.

If you didn't brush your teeth well and it is whiter where the brackets are, you probably have other issues too. :( See a regular dentist, have a cleaning and xrays.

I'm kinda surprised you didn't ask your orthodontist.

Just use Crest(c) white strips. They're cheap and really work.
