Pa0, how do you know where this person has been? How do you know whether this person has struggled to get food, better opportunities and "all that?" Yes, the "undocumented (please!!)" are traitors to their own country because instead of staying where they are, helping to build their own country, they flee, making life that much more miserable for not only them (because they are illegal), but for their families and the people of this country also!
And how do you know what they (the "undocumented") go or have been through? Are you not one of these so-called undocumented?
The children? Couldn't care less. I do not respect any person who is climbs aboard the gravy train to the land of opportunity (the US, of course) whether man, woman, or child. There are millions upon millions of children who are poor in the US, how about we care for our own first?
Opportunities? I am quite sure that there plenty of opportunities for people in these 3rd world countries to do right, it's just that they want the easy way out, which is to just up and leave instead of staying and toughening it out. Sure, there are plenty of opportunities here in the US, but it aint all sweet like people make it out to be. If this was the case, everybody would be millionaires.
Sure, there are ways in which immigrants (both legal and illegal) are loyal to their country and they are to their language and culture; but, at the expense of others. Because of this proud ness in their language, we have bilingual education. Because of this proud ness in their culture, we have people who are not supposed to be here in the first place, protesting and demanding rights, raising the flag of none other than the country in which was say bad to them, they deserted their family altogether for.
If you were born here (in the US) and have some sort of allegiance to the country in which left you and yours out to dry, instead of the one that embraced you, shame on you? You, and all of you who do so, can go home, opening the door to somebody who will do otherwise.
Hispanics (those of you who mostly support illegal immigration) are such cowards!! Take care of business where ever you came from; don't try and change sh-- here!!
And for the question, you can help by standing up to people like pa0, who spout so much hatred towards people who have any common sense about illegal immigration, for, that’s all you really can do. No one in congress is listening to you.
For me, it helps in that I know that there are many Hispanics who feel that, although they (and countless others) can understand illegal immigrants, they cannot condone their illegal actions.

It's the Americans who support the illegal aliens who are the real traitors.

I appreciate you standing up for yourself. I have read that there are many people like you in the Hispanic comm unites. You probably do not appreciate the crime that illegals have brought with them nor the higher taxes to pay for their medical needs. In Arizona a while back Hispanics refused to go to school, etc to protest and cost the state millions. I wonder if they refused free medical treatment that day as well....

If a member of their “society” lets them know how they are affecting the economy the chances of them listening are greater. Take Martin Luther King, Malcom X… imagine if they were white. No black person would listen to them or follow them.
It is a relationship that only people of the same “race” can share, because the trials and tribulations of being that “race” can only be shared by that race.
If I stand up, I am dubbed a racist.
If the entire Latin community stands up, the Latin illegal immigrants will relate and possibly change.

How are illegals traitors? And you have no say into judging undocumented immigrants because you have no idea how hard it is to make it, to get food, better opportunities, and all of that. And how are they traitors? A country is not only made by it's gov't but also by their culture and heritage. There are also many undocumented children who come when they are young. Are they traitors too? You really shouldn't be judging since you were born in a country where everything is adjusted to your liking and you have so many opportunities. I shouldn't even be dignifying this question with an answer...

The same way all Americans do, write to your congressman, address the issue with numbers at you city hall, vote in the right leaders who have America in their heart and not money and greed. The face of America is not one color, we need all Americans to stand up for this great land.

Write to your congressman. Tell your side of the story. Join anti-illegal immigration groups. I think there's one in Orange county you might like.

Vote conservative. The House Republicans were the only ones willing to stop this. They lost 40 seats in the last election.

• Reforms in our family-based immigration system to significantly reduce waiting
times for separated families who currently wait many years to be reunited;
• The creation of more responsive legal avenues for workers and their families who
wish to migrate to the U.S. to enter our country and work in a safe, legal, and
orderly manner that prevents their exploitation and assures them due process;
• The option for those individuals and families who are already living in the U.S. and
working hard to apply for permanent legal status and citizenship if they choose to
do so, by meeting specific application criteria; and
• Border protection policies that are consistent with humanitarian values and with
the need to treat all individuals with respect, while allowing the authorities to carry
out the critical task of enforcing our laws.
