Why do some guys act serious around me?

Question

When I talk to them, some of them act so serious while talking to me. I want them to at least warm up, Im kind of shy and so Im trying to look as friendly as possible. As well trying to smile while talking to them, also make jokes, and they still talk to me with this serious blank face. Which makes more awkward while giving eye contact.

Others might not even give me eye contact at all, I talk to them and they act like there not interested. There so confusing.

There are differences in how people will treat you when you are shy, but if individuals cannot give you a little grace and be open to your personality then hang in there for someone with a kind heart and a little maturity who will be more open to getting to know you.

Sometimes guys also get less playful when they know that you are bright & have higher standards than them and that you won't play into their mind games to get some action from you. In that case, it's better to look out for yourself and just let them be.

Might be that only you think your jokes are funny? I don't know. Sometimes a blank face can be because they just found out they like you.

Obvi you're actually not, by way of fact you're uncomfortable sufficient to concern approximately 'what you're doing incorrect'.
