Self defense techniques
1. When being choked kick the attacker in the shine bone, kick hard.
2. When being punched at, dodge, duck, step out of the way.
3. If grabed kick or knee him, whichever is closest, in the balls and hard.
Those are all that I can think off off the top of my head that are simple and easy.
Disclaimer: I would suggest you get some training from an expert in self-defense before tempting to use any of those techniques.

Sure what you should teach her is that: Awareness is the most important aspect of self defence Listen to her instincts, if something seems wrong then get the hell out of there. She should find a qualified self defence teacher if thats what she wants to learn. These 3 things could save your friend but teaching her a few simple techniques you have picked up in the last year and a half will do very little apart from maybe giving her a false sense of security. I don't mean any offence to you but the simple fact is if you arm someone with a few tricks and they are not constantly getting some practice then the chance of them pulling them off against someone out to hurt them is negligible. Would you be willing to learn to fly from a pilot who had only ever been in a simulator?

There are some basics that anyone can learn but I'd recommend taking real classes as soon as possible.
First, the best fight is the one you don't get into. Use your head, use your senses, avoid fighting as much as possible. Many crimes and attacks happen because the victim isn't aware of the surroundings, isn't aware the attacker is even there. Keep your eyes and ears open and stay away from this girl. If you are confronted try to talk your way out but be prepared to defend yourself if you must, don't gte backed into a corner or surrounded.
Second, run if you have to. I know a man who I would pick to win almost any fight situation I can think of. I know he has fought off attackers that were armed with knives, when he was surrounded, when he was fighting guys twice his size. But his first rule of self defense is leave rather then fight. If you are able, leave the area. Don't wear clothes you can't run in, skirts are a stupid fashion design, so are high heels.
If you must fight, you've been surprised or can't talk your way out and you can't run away there are some things you can easily learn. Remember SING, that's the FBI's rape prevention system it stands for Solar Plexus, Instep, Neck/Nose, Groin. Those are the weak spots on the human body. So rather then just swinging away randomly try to hit those areas. If approached from behind stepping hard on the instep of the foot or kicking back into the shins is a good move. Using the hard part of the palm of the hand (by your thumb) you can attack the nose, temple, chin or even back of the head. A blade edge of the hand can be chopped at the neck. A good kick to the groin (even against a woman) doesn't feel good.
Keep your hands up on guard, you don't want them to be able to hit your face but also don't block your own vision. Keep the guard up around nose level but not over your eyes and not too close to your own face. If your guard is too close the first punch will send your own hands into your own face. Try to side step your opponent rather then face them head-on. Attacks to their back and sides are easier to land. Keep your hair out of the way, if you expect trouble keep your hair back and try not to let the other girl grab it. If she does, grab her hair with one hand while punching her face with the other until she lets go. Stay on your feet, the worst thing you can do is get on the ground where a standing attacker can kick you.
Be careful and if threats continue against you tell the principal, your parents or even the police. In many states threatening bodily harm is a felony.

If you can't speak with her in a calm manner and negotiate an understanding, being aware of your surroundings and actively avoid confrontation is probably the most effective method of self-defense. Any technique that we could provide will require a lot of practice. Eye pokes, groin kicks, etc., are only effective if properly executed. There are no sure-fire, easy to learn and apply formulas in a fight. If you must seek out physical defense techniques, a good martial arts school or class can instruct you far better than reading answers from Yahoo.com.

No one can give you anything worthwhile on internet that would suddenly make you a profecient fighter especially if you have never trained in self defense techniques before.
Either take some lessons or train with your brothers, because it is the physical familiarization with fighting and fighting techniques that allows you to be profecient and react quickly in a fight. But if some tougher girl is going to try to beat you up, I wouldn't reccomend fighting her toe-to-toe.
Chances are she won't attack you, and her threats are empty. If she does attack you, have your friends help you. If your friends aren't there, then try to get away instead of duking it out.
I know it may sound lame and cowardly, but the best self defense is not being there in the first place.

We can't teach you self defense just with text, it's too omplicated than that. Your best bet is to enroll in Martial Arts classes & work hard.
Also try avoiding this girl & stay with friends.
In most places, there a is a crime called terroristic threatening, if her threats are this severe, you could consider calling the police & filing a complaint.

find a friend and get them to play fight with you (sparring)
don't think too much, just let your body respond naturally. At first you will be really crap, but if they keep coming at you then you will soon find your instincts.
Simple self defense can be learnt in a few hours like that.

Not in a paragraph. Just understand your goal is to escape, not to beat anyone up. Most techniques are designed to make an assailant let go of you so that you can run. If a guy grabs you face to face, odds are you are not going to win a fight with him, or pull away by force, you have to make him immediately let you go. Don't waste time trying to punch or kick him, step even closer, dig your fingers of both of your hands around his collar bones, holding them like the handle bars of a bike, the sudden numbing pain will cause him to loosen his grip on you, then head but the sob in the face, push off after the head butt and run like hell. I promise you will get a fair head start on your escape.
The whole move from start to finish must happen instantly, quickly, without hesitation or telegraphing your intent. It only works if your surprise your assailant.
