our best witness is, our love and honesty. most people know who and what i am,

to live a godly life is the best witness you can have.
i ofter have people talk to me a bout God and share their needs and desires with me, i let them come to me, and they do.

In every persons life there comes a time when they need answers.

the biggest problem that i have is when I have to try to explain why some Christians, do not act like it,

That's an easy one. You need a called Pastor-Teachers that
really studies the scripture. You need to sit under him and I preface this, a man, who loves God and teaches consistently.
Rom. 12:1-2, present your body as a living sacrifice, holy and
acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And
do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the
renewing of you mind, that you may prove what is that good
and acceptable and perfect will of God. When we grow in
God's Word we mature and are blessed on this earth and
can handle anything that is thrown at us and there are
additional blessings in heaven for winner believers.
Check out Rev. 2:7, 2:13. 2:17, 2:26 and 3:4-6. There's more. He is faithful and if you want to know truth then He
will get you to it. There are serious Christians and nominal
Christians. Hope this helps. When your mind is filled with
Bible doctrine you can give a answer in witnessing.

The opposite of a Christian lifestyle is a selfish lifestyle. So the first thing would be to lok at you life honestly (which is hard to do) and see where you are selfish (free time, money, possessions, work space, etc.).

Make a list of your closest friends, a list of your work mates, a list of people you come in contact with on a regular basis. Put a plus sign by the ones you have talked to about
Christ. Put a check mark by the ones that know that you are a Christian and circle the check mark if you can think of 2 actions you have done for them or in front of them that demonstrates a Christian lifestyle, and finally put a circle the names of those that do not even know you are a Chritian. Now study the lists and make specific plans on how to improve it.

Each day think of one person you wll come in contact with during the day and plan something nice you can do for them.

Each week think of one church activity or charitable organization you can do something for.

The best way to witness to someone is to demonstrate a Christian lifestyle that makes them realize their life is incomplete. Then, they will want to hear what you have to say.

The absolute best thing you can do is strive daily to become more Christlike. Read your Bible and study the attributes of Christ. Let the Holy Spirit guide you through your spirtual growth. Trust God through all trials. Let your light shine.

There is no greater witness to non-believers than living out your faith before them. Be bold, honest, and loving toward non-believers and be ready to give an answer because if you live the life you are suppose to, they will notice and want whatever you have. They will ask you what it is that you have and how they can get it.

"How can we better ourselves?" - Read the Word, get it deep down inside you

"How can we become closer to Jesus" - Read His Word, get it deep down inside you.

Cool ideas on witnessing? Let it show in your life, be someone who is blessed so that others will want what you have ... be a light that attracts others rather than the hammer of doom and gloom that some can be.

Serve ourselves ? Serve Jesus ...Read Ephesians 3:16 - 21 Read his word daily , earnestly pray for wisdom and guidance . Do you know the ins and out of the bible to witness ? Ask a elder or your Pastor for help .Do you have a outreach program at church ? If not , make one or look to see if you can get help from another church .

By setting time aside for God and taking that time to focus on him, read his word and pray. I know I'm guilty of letting day to day things get in my way and lose focus..(oh God just let me get these dishes done, just let me get the floors vacuumed..etc then I'll sit down and read and meditate on your word) Yet there he is ...he just says OK...I only died on the cross for you ...I'll just sit over here ....when your done. HELLO!!! Get back on track!! I now make it a point that he is my focus at the beginning of the day. If we put Christ FIRST in our life everything else will just fall into place. We are the child of a King!! We have nothing to fear if we just stay focused on him! Be still and know that he is Lord! God Bless you all!!!

Be the light the bible talks about. Try to help people in everyday life, you'd be amazed at what GOD would bring your way if you were open to Him. Be involved in your church, there is alot of help needed there also.

The satisfaction that brings is priceless, and will bring you closer to Jesus.

This forum is a wonderful way to either let our light shine or sadly bring shame to our Savior, dependant on our manner of presentation of the Gospel.

The very best way to witness,is to simply live it...Years ago a Christian friend of mine was witnessing to his brother...and his brother responded to him.( don't tell me..show me)

Prayer, personal worship, and being in the Word are indispensible in bringing ourselves into a more intimate relationship with Him. (To my shame, I have not practiced fasting very much...it is also another means of dying to self)
