The Standard safety features of this car are Seat belts, Breaks, and a collapsible steering wheel. How much are you getting the car for and what kind of condition is it in? Explain to your dad that this is an investment. The 60's mustangs (when restored correctly) can sell for as much as 23,000 dollars. Is this going to be a daily drive for you? If so you may want to look at what it's going to take to up grade the breaks and steering. once you do this it should be pretty safe. Let me know if you have more questions
