one of my nephews Alex has half a dozen, his cousin my other nephew Rock(22 at the time) got one when we were playing Rancho Solano (some of the biggest greens in the state), a perfect 5 iron over water into a hole 197 yards away, their grandpa Juan had a dozen, his last coming after he turned 65...playing a random 4some I watched one of our playing partners ace a 137 yard hole...

Yes, I saw President Eisenhower hit a hole in one in Palm Springs California in 1960. He was about 69 years old at the time.

I was 44 years old. I also witnessed an ace by a 40-year-old and another by a 16-year-old. My cousin had a hole-in-one on a par 4; he was 48, I believe.

great stories to go with a great question.

im 16, and i hit my first hole in one...about 3 months ago. it was a blind shot up hill (hole measured about 120 yards, but about 10 yds uphill.) anyways, i hit my 8iron and it landed in the hole. about 4 weeks later, i was out playing with two guys off of our guy's golf team and one of my good friends who is on my team (girls). One of the guys hit his shot, and it landed about 10 feet form the hole, and since this particular green had a slope on it, by the time that we got over to the hole (we were riding) we didnt see the ball anywhere. we looked all over the place for it and couldnt find it. THe guy was about to ride back to the tee box to rehit his shot when i was like hold on, check in the hole... and it was there. pretty cool stuff!

good luck in your golfing, and i hope that you get your hole in one soon!

happy golfing!

i did it last month, in palm springs California, Big horn golf course. the hole was a par 3 145 yards, i used a 7 iron. it bounced past the hole, and the backspin on the ball brought it back and rolled in the hole!!! it was soooo, cool.
i am 14 years old, i think it was luck

I was twenty-one. First game of golf ever, after two months at the driving range. 162 yards. Good hit drew right-to-left, hitting the fat front apron of the green. It bounces, then keeps rolling toward the flagstick, and rolling... then we don't see it any more. Ace.

Never played another game of golf after that day. Tendonitis.
