i like loading my bike up with decals of all the parts i have installed. i looked on ebay and it would cost about $40 to get all the decals i want. can i print my own? i have a brand new Epson inkjet printer at home and a laser printer at work. will they work? i imagine i'll need special paper. i just want to know if its possible to make good color and water resistant decals that i can peel and stick on, or even rub on. they just cant wipe off when they get wet, they have to be tough.

not sure where to post this....

You can make your own decals. You can not make your own vinyl decals. These are cut on a special machine. There are kits for making waterslide decals on your computer and printing on a regular printer.

As an answer above says, it is probably better to make waterslide decals rather than vinyl stickers, but I have had reproduction stickers made at a sign shop... they were more than $40 though.

Waterslide decals are likely going to be the "toughest" because you coat them with clear, but I have not yet found a good inkjet ink that doesn't fade/wash off in time. Perhaps it is a better investment (in time and money) to just go with the eBay stickers.

some years in the past I examine which you would be able to hold a picture from slick magazine pages with clean spray paint. enable it dry thoroughly, soak in water (a sprint dish cleansing soap would desire to help), then intently rub the paper off the back. This grew to become into used to pass a image onto a bike tank which grew to become into then clean lined.
