They aren't stock, they aren't subs, but give off alot of bass. 85% of the time they don't work (only the front speakers work), but once and a while they'll turn on randomly and work fine for anywhere from a few minutes to until I finish driving. What's wrong?

There is probably a bad or loose connection. It probably gets jarred when driving so sometimes it works. You should try to take it out and check the connection. However this connection issue can be anywhere. I would start first at the speaker, then at the amp or radio.

I had the same problem except with my front speakers. My problem was that the people who owned the car before me put in the radio themselves and while doing that, screwed up the wiring harness behind the dash. I had to re-wire the hole stereo system. So if someone else has messed with your stereo head unit that may be the problem. If not that then it is a loose connection or bad wiring. All of this can be checked by checking all the connections and seeing if it's loose or frayed at the end. Good Luck!

Just get rid of your rear speakers altogether.

You dont need them, unless you care if the people sitting in your back seats can hear the music.
