i live in the thumb of michigan does any one know what brown trout are bitting i know blue/silver spoons are one what are some more and what color.

Browns love their Rainbow Trout cousins, so I'd suggest usin' spinners (rainbow trout color) or as far as that goes any color, ya' got to find out what they want (change colors). In somewhat of an analogy fish are like humans they like variety!
Spoons work well, I've used Little Cleo's w/ a nightcrawler trailer (nightcrawler attached to hook). You might want to get some Pro-Cure (good stuff) and dab on some to body of spinner or spoon. "Fish On' and good luck...

seriously i never used spoons,i just put a big worm,make sure u dont buy the worms! get worms from your yard or under old pots,u know what i mean?if u have 2 rods the leave 1 with a worm and the other rod just use a spoon and see which 1 catches a fish 1s..... good luck!

Im guessing your tolling on one of the great lakes. Use a combination of stick baits and crankbaits trolled behing your boat. Put your baits at shallow depths, 5, 10, 15 feet. You should troll in about 40-60 feet of clean water. I hope this helps!
