i think that they're really fun and kids love em. most people that get hurt on trampolines are the 20+ guys that try to be cool and end up breaking their foot. anyways the only thing i would warn about is homeowners insurance. i live in FL and i kno that as soon as ur ins. finds about a trampoline they send u a cancellation notice in the mail. then nobody else will give you ins either. so other than that tho theyre awsome.

They're great. Kids will jump on it all day if you let them. I had one when I was a kid and no one ever got hurt. You just have to make sure they don't try anything crazy like backflipping off the trampoline onto the ground below.
Also, ours was over grass, so in the event that someone fell off (noone did) then they wouldn't really be badly hurt. It's a great workout, too! They will get way more use and are way more fun than those really small 1-person trampolines.

I love trampolines and I love kids and love them together too! I WAS a kid on a HUGE trampoline growing up and it was awesome. I learned tons of fun tricks and spent hours being aerobic outside with my friends. The trampoline is awesome. Kids usually discover their own limits. No one (even my insane older brother who jumped fromthe roof of the proch onto the trampoline) ever broke a bone. There were bruises from flying off but I can't name on person who ever did anything other than laugh and get back on.
Nowadays everyone has these tiny little trampolines with those nets around them. What is the fun and adventure in that!? Nothing. If you want to have fun you need space and the fear/adrenaline/caution of flying off makes you more agile and tougher. If my mom put a net around anything I was playing on outside I would feel as though I was being caged, not fun! To heck with nets and fences, let kids be kids!!!
HOWEVER, you may see an increase in your homeowners insurance if you get a trampoline and they reasses your home. We got rid of ours after our insurance premium went up $800. Sad day... but we gave it to another kid to enjoy so it's all good!
And that's all I have to say about that haha! ( =

Befor I answer your question I will ask one. What is the main cause of knee ankle and general leg injuries that can haunt a kid for life ...You probably got it..Yes trampolines.Busted legs, exploded knees and ankles. More injuries than cross country motor cycle raceing. Ask any person involved in repairing these injuries.. A kid can bounce ten feet into the air. If he misses the trampoline thats now fifteen feet..Think on it

alot of fun, and a good way to get exercise, just make sure if u have kids, that u have the netting that goes around it, to make sure that they stay in the trampoline when jumping, and to make sure they dont try anything to stupid, make sure u get the biggest one you can afford. the bigger the better

I think with proper supervision they can be ok. However, I rarely see adults supervising when children are using them. I wouldn't own one because of the liability factor.
