Thank you, she isnt on the wet food only dry thank God. My heart goes out to those what have lost their pet through this terrible tragedy. I used to make my own food for dogs and sell it..so many people complained about the cost. i wish I had of continued it but it proved too costly for profit..but even if I did continue how could I have saved all those innocent pets..so sad..yes Lilly will be at the vet asap in the morning

Yes, definitely. My father in law gave our dog a soup bone one evening when he was dog sitting. Contrary to popular belief, dogs should not feed on bones. They can't digest them completely and can get stuck in the digestive tract. Luckily, our dog vomited it out later the next day. I would take the dog in and get xrays just to make sure it either passes or is digested....

Be really careful if she has eaten any of the 'tainted" foods being talked about on TV. It is mainly the ones in pouches/cans, not the dry food.
One of our dogs has a sensitive stomach and when she eats certain rawhide type chew toys she gets sick. Good luck---hope all goes well.

Sure could. Pig ears (what made my dog sick), bones and all that other stuff are a waste of money. Dogs are quite happy with whatever you will give them and don't need "treats". Plain old biscuits are fine for that. It's the affection and clean water that they want.

Make sure she is eating and bathrooming properly. If not, she could have something lodged in her stomach. Otherwise, the bone may just be too much for her stomach.

I sure hope she is better in the morning.

Good Luck

You should take her to the vet weather she's better tomorrow or not. As for a diagnosis, I'm not quite sure. There could be many factors that caused her to vomit.

I have never heard of that and I feed my dog steak bones all the time.

I had a beagle...they eat everything...hounds have very powerful digestive systems.

(if she were my dog, I would do what you are planing as well)
