A landlord may reasonably refuse to rent to you if you have an eviction on your record. You need to be prepared to explain why you were evicted and to show that the reason for your eviction won't happen again.

Not every landlord will refuse to rent to you. The larger operations often use an information service to screen tenants and that will tell them about evictions. Smaller landlords often don't screen tenants as thoroughly so if you're willing to live in a smaller project for a year you should find willing landlords. They may (as said above) want a larger deposit to protect them against the risk that you don't pay the rent.

for the reason which you have not have been given any previous condo historic previous, you will in all risk want a co-signer. i've got have been given a distinctly crappy credit status myself, yet because of the fact i've got have been given a fifteen+ 300 and sixty 5 days historic previous of being an A1 renter (i've got by no skill been late with my hire, by no skill broken a hire and by no skill been concern to an eviction), I had no situation getting yet another house this previous month whilst i desperate that 9 years in one place grew to become into long adequate. There ARE places that don't run credit exams, yet they are in crummy, risky neighborhoods.

Anything is possible.

You might be asked to put down a large security deposit because you could be a "flight risk".

They figure if you put down a good size deposit, then you won't leave them "high and dry".

And you KNOW how the Southern players are notorious for leaving folks on "4 flat tires!"

Well, I would come up with a darn good excuse as to why you were evicted (your roommate skipped town, etc).

Not all apartments make you go through a credit check. Look for those when looking for an apartment.
