My boyfriend says he thinks I am jealous because I would react if a girl came up to the table and flirted with him while we are at dinner or if old friends of his were writing flirty emails and I spoke up about them... I don't think I am jealous- what am I? I figured I was just being careful, not over protective at all. Does he know what he is talking about?

Someone coming by your table to say hello and a flirty e-mail are two different things. You don't give enough information for me to decide if you're jealous or not. People coming by your table at dinner saying hello isn't a big deal in my opinion. You can't cut your boyfriend off from ever speaking to other people or you do have a big problem. He should also be able to speak with old friends. If you're confident of his feelings towards you then what would you have to be worried about? I wouldn't be upset with my girlfriend about that kind of thing because I trust her and know she wants only me.

i have the exact same problem. im glad you asked! =] haha.
but i am still trying to figure it out, because i get called jealous by my boyfriend too when i bring it up. but really, im not jealous, im just watching out for what we have. cuz we all know there are evil b*tches everywhere!
But no, your not jealous. its completely understandable.
if he thinks your jealous, ask him how he would react.
and if he tries to play it cool, make it happen., get one of your friends or something to come flirt with you or send you texts or emails [not for real, just being flirty on purpose] and see how he reacts. cuz i bet you he does the same thing, if not, he will get extremely pissed. and then you can tell him that is how you feel, and he needs to understand that.and he needs to know that your only doing it in good, your not trying to be a *****. haha well hope i helped.

ha, I think I would react the same as you, but then again it depends on the trust you guys have with eachother, i mean your saying if a girl came up to the table and started flirting with him, well ya that would bother me, but depends on how he's acting is he flirting back? u know it just all depends,and about the emails, if he has a girl he shouldnt be receving emails like that!!! so I think I would react the same way you would , not to jelous , but I mean I wouldnt be happy, I think u guyz need more trust

GIRL I WOULD HAVE SPOKE UP ABOUT THAT TOO... IN A WAY ITS JEALOUSY BUT THEN YOUR BEING CAREFUL AND YOU DONT WANT ANY OF THOSE GIRLS TO GET IN THE WAY OF YOU AND BOYFRIENDS RELATIONSHIP. I'd say your not very confident in yourself or your relationship?jealously is a bad bad green demon, and only leads to trouble, either you trust him or you dint, and if there's no trust , there's really no relationship, ease up or you'll scare him away, unless that's your mission,cause your not proving anything to him, except showing him what an-*** you can be, good luck, ans ease up.

If it girl flirts with him you should take it as a compliment because he is yours. But if he flirts back then yeah you should speak up about it.
