I noticed a little red blood in my stool today. (I think it was..at least). I also have some pain in my stomach that has been there for 2 weeks. I have been taking supplements to keep my stools regular. They are pretty harsh supplements. Could this be related? Someone suggested an ulcer.. wouldn't the blood be black and not red because it is coming from the stomach?

It may be a fissure or hemorrhoids. Or it may be the supplements (at least the stomach pain could be). You should ask your doctor to be sure. He'll/she'll probably suggest a colonoscopy unless there is something he/she can see without one. You probably should stop the supplements until your doctor says it ok. Anything thats going to be harsh on your system should be initially run by your doctor to begin with.

Stool softeners should not be used on a regular basis. I would very much like to suggest you go to the doctor. SERIOUSLY!

Red blood means it is from near the anus. It is usually serious, so you should see your doctor right away.

Discontinue using the supplements until your doctor okays them.

Could be many things, intestinal bleed, hemorrhoid, etc. Without a thorough physical exam and possible lab-work, we here can't tell you much. Please go see your family doctor ASAP. If you can't get in Monday or Tuesday, consider an ER visit.
