Both. Great for veggies! Good for defrosting meat. We use it several times a day.

Mostly reheating, because some say, there are harmful effects when cooking using the microwave. But what the heck, I use it to cook too, sometimes, especially when I'm in a hurry.

Reheating the food. I'm a little nervous with the whole radiation thing. So I try to limit the use of the microwave as much as possible.

reheating only and then mostly for liquids or making popcorn..i never cook with microwave and also try not to reheat meat either as it usually makes the meat dry and tough
