I met this person while exercising, we talked and she told me a lot about her (being divorced, having a child, working school etc) but didn't ask much about me. is it because i asked first. i've seen her once, do you it's to early ask her out? or was that person being just courteous while divulging the info. how do i know?

sounds like she is a very open person .. and you were a good ear for her ... she felt comfortable talking and opening up to you ... your personality and looks made her at east being in your presence ... she sounds like a nice person to get to know better ... strike up another conversation from her to see if she is available and looking .. then go from there ...

I think you should strike up another conversation, or two, before you jump into asking her out. If she responds positively towards you, then she might be interested. You need to get to know her, and her dating status before you ask for a date. Although she was open and friendly, that is not enough of an indicator to rush into anything of a romantic nature. If she just came out of a bad situation, you do not want to push, or rush her. I would be open, friendly, and take things a bit slow. If she continues to be friendly, and comfortable with you, then ask her out for coffee, or someplace like a juice bar, not too over the top.
