We are getting married in August, and we are looking for some song ideas for the wedding. Were getting married a church, so certain "rules" of music apply. But i am wanting something more contemporary then the avergage organ or piano music. Were a pretty young couple, 22 and 20. Any ideas?

The song "The Next 10 Minutes" from the musical "The Last 5 Years" by Jason Robert Brown is BEAUTIFUL for weddings. We had some close friends sing it for our wedding and it's just captures how a real couple feels. It has more contemporary lyrics and rhythms, but is sounds great with just a piano accompaniment.

I went to a church wedding (Georgia) a couple years ago and the music they played as the couple left the church was not the traditional wedding song. They played "This could be an everlasting love... for me". I don't know the actual name of the song but I think it is sung by an older lady, maybe Aretha Franklin????
