I`m starting to get the chicken pox, and my skin is rreally oily, and I wash my face and put stuff on it (3 step system) is it OK to put it on my face, or will it hurt, or something?

As long as you can tolerate it, it's best to leave your face alone for the time being. You can aggravate the pox causing it to burst thus leaving permanent scars. Your face may itch as a result causing it to be unbearable. Use instead Calamine lotion. This will help cool your face and prevents it from getting itch.

You need to be sure it's chicken pox and not some other kind of skin irritation. If you wash your face with harsh chemicals and put harsher stuff on it like astringents it will exacerbate the problem.
I'd go to a doctor or dematologist to be sure that's what you have. If so he or she can prescribe a skin cleansing regimen to you.
In the meantime, I'd use a very gentle cleanser like Dove Face Wash or Oil of Olay. And no after stuff like astringents or toners on it.

I would try to avoid using products on your face unless they are the anti itching creams or liquids. Cleaning your face and body just with water in the shower or bath should make you feel better. It did for me when i had the chicken pox not too long ago.

My spouse just got over a bout of chickenpox. I let her do 'NOTHING' to her face and body for four-five days after which I allowed her a bath with nothing but some baking soda in tepid water. After ten days I let her use Johnson's Baby Shampoo (her hair was a mess), and also Johnson's Baby Soap. Thankfully, there are no remains to suggest, she'd been 'visited by the virus'. My advice - don't rush.

i hope u feel okay, i got chicken pox on christmas eve lol, it sucks. but becareful dont scratch or irritate the spots or you will have scars left, just take a bath in epsom salts and wash your face with the salt and it wont be oily.

Do NOT do that. Yes it WILL get irritated, and probably worse. And you may get stuck with pox marks.
