ok so I had a stiff neck and normal pain pills were not doing the trick, so my roommate gave me one of his tylenol with codeine 3. I have to take a UA for my new job tomarrow, will this show up on the UA?

yes it sure will so be sure to tell the test place you took one. If they know ahead of time they will mark your test that you tok it and won't usually hold codeine against you

It depends on how long ago you tool the pill, but yes it can show. I tested positive for a work-related drug test because I routinely used Tylenol 3 for chronic back pain. The lab called my pharmacy and confirmed that I did in fact have a legal prescription and everything was fine. Good luck to you.

Tylenol with codeine is a narcotic, But it depends on what they are looking for, If they are looking for pot coke and so on then probably not. They usually do not look for prescribed meds

Yes - it will show up as an abnormal PH in your urine. They will then run further test to determine the drug family you tested positive for. Try Drinking lots of distilled water over night and maybe the dosage will be low enough not to be considered a positive.

Yes it will show up on a UA drug screen. Your best bet is to just be honest with the place and tell them that you took the meds before you take the test. That way they will know it will show up positive before it actually does. Good luck

No, codeine will not show up on the test strip the lab people dip in your urine.

Yes it will show up, but it will show up as a opioid. The codiene is made from opium the same thing as heroin, morphine, or pretty much any narcotic.

If you took the pill today and the test is tomorrow, bad news. But if you took it yesterday it just Might be o.k. Maybe.
