Marijuana causes obstruction in sperm mobility and can reduce the sperm count, thus decreasing its effectiveness. It also decreases the volume of seminal fluid. Again, THC is supposed to cause these changes. According to some researchers, Marijuana can cause changes in the process of hyper activation of sperm. The sperm of Marijuana smokers moves too fast at the early stage of swimming and burns out even before the process of fertilization, thus causing temporary infertility. But these effects are not permanent and can be reversed within 30 days of stopping Marijuana's use.

It's a myth. pure and simple.

Seeds and stems have the lowest concentration of THC of any part of the plant. They also taste gross....probably the origin of the myth that they make u sterile....

The highest concentration of THC is found in the seed coat - the little bit of fluffy matter that grows around the seed to protect it. Next most potent is the female flowers; then the male flowers and it quickly drops when you hit the leaves, stems and seeds.

If you want a different high and have a mass of stems and leaves, try cooking them. The best way is to chop it really fine, get a couple of pounds of butter melted and chuck it into the chopped leaf. cook it for a couple of hours then strain it - chuck the nasty black mess that isn't butter and use the butter as you'd normally do in cooking. Be warned. It's got a slow, creeping effect that will knock you for six if you gobble too much thinking that it's not working. Usually takes between 15 to 30 min. to come on....then you'll no doubt experience "becoming at one with the furniture" or "couch - suck". hehehe...

Mz. T.... please find me documented and proven research and studies showing that smoking weed eats and decomposes brain cells. You will find that this information does not exist because you are providing false information. So please stop being ignorant and learn your facts before you say something. As for the question, stems and seeds do not have any THC in them, or at least very very little. So it won't get you high.I believe, if my memory servers me right, that stems contain a carcinogen called acrolein, which is extremely irritating to nerve cells; hence the headache. And for the record: smoking weed does not make you dumb. im sick of hearing that. it does as you are high, but that's because it tends to make your brain lazy for the time being. anyone can smoke weed and recover 100 percent no matter how much they smoked. Hell, you could smoke for 10 years straight, stop, and still be just as intelligent. You will suffer some memory loss, and probably be a different person, but I assure you... it is not that bad for you. Especially in comparison to cigarettes and alcohol... which ironically are legal. And if you smoked cigarettes or drank beer everyday for 10 years straight... you will have MUCH worse longterm effects than you would from the weed. Isn't it a strange world we live in?
