Does Gordon take more poles now or was he taking more poles back when he and Brooke were together? Seems like here lately with the exception of this weekend he hasn't been taking may poles? whats up with that?

Seeing as how Hendrick Motor Sports has 4 strong teams, and one of the other teams has been dominant in the last 5 years, there must be some distribution of info, time and resources'. So, yes there has been a decline in Jeff's qualifying on the pole, but if you look at it closely, he constantly qualifies up front. Also, look at Ryan Newman's qualifying stats and win percentage. What does a pole position really mean, when it comes to race day? After today, I'd say, "The Drive for Five IS Alive!!!" ...Go 24!!

We see a different Jeff Gordon now than he was when he was married to Brooke. Then he was a recluse and he was very shackled and quiet. The Jeff Gordon now is more relaxed and free and happy and he feels he can get married again. But I don't think he's lost a thing, he's just a good a driver but they need to emphasize on him instead of the younger guys.

He doesn't dominate like he used to. He is still a threat to win the pole every week, but his performance has not been up to the very high standars he set in the late 90's.

Gordon took the most poles after brook, then his new wife decided to work for him by posing as a lover. This has reduced his poles but he does get poles often.
