yeah, just ask him, it's one of those things where you just do it, if he says yes then he says yes, if no then at least you tried
maybe you could ask him if he wants to just hang out for a while and then really ask him out once you get to know him better

Hey, so was I , but this is what I did.....I got his phone number from a friend.....took a deep breath....called him.....and told him how i felt...with of course a lot of stuttering......and me having to repeat myself...lol...try it!

i did it online.
it was much easier.
