For me it is American Kenpo. That is what my daughter wanted to take and martial arts are a family thing for us. Also we live in a tiny village in the middle of no where, there are two schools here JuJitsu and Kenpo, and I have pins in my shoulder and don't feel like getting thrown around that much. Also the teachers at the Kenpo school are almost all guards at a super max prison, they use this stuff quite often. My reason are simple based on what is available but unless you live in a large city I think that is gonna be a factor for anyone. If I had my choice of the whole spectrum I would be interested in checking out KravMaga or Pancratium or maybe Pentjak Silat.
