Stuffing is made with bread crumbs and cooked inside of the turkey. Dressing is made with yellow corn meal and flour cooked in dish. AND THEY ArE NOT THE SAME as some of these others in here said.

They are the same. Depending on where you live, some people just call it dressing and some call it stuffing - but it's all the same.

The bird, usually, is "dressed" with stuff when baking. Usually, this stuff is stuffed into it, so sometimes it is called stuffing. It's the same thing.
Stuff you put on a salad is called salad dressing. Stuff you put inside a bird is dressing or stuffing.

Stuffing, filling or dressing, they're all the same thing whether they are cooked inside the bird or not.
