i was editing a letter on microsoft word and i saved it on my computer on friday. i was trying to access the letter today, but it doesn't open. it's located in the history of my documents, but it says that the shortcut has been moved or changed. my letter is not even on the computer anymore ( i searched for it). i would appreciate your help

If you remember the name that you saved it under do a file search under "the name.doc"

Did you try to select open and see if the file you need from word is int here? If not try and see if it is in the recycle bin. Hope you find it as that has happened to me at work.

Sounds like you deleted it by mistake. Try searching by using *.doc (I think Office 2007 has a different extension). If that's what you did and you don't see it anywhere - it's gone. Try looking in your trashcan.....I guess.
