I am kind of mixed as well, I love my silicone baking sheet but, hate the loaf pan and cake pan I have...they feel kinda flimsy to me...
I am still afraid that they will spill, or burn, or add toxins to the food or something...on a very small level...
I do find that sometimes my loaf pan sticks, and it is a good Tupperware one...that I paid entirely too much money for...that kinda ticks me off! And the one I bought at Canadian Tire works awesome...I paid 12 bucks for it and it works better than the ones they raved about that cost about 50 dollares more...
I still use my aluminum ones a lot more than the silicone ones

My girlfriend owns a bakery and swears by them. I work there sometimes and yes they make life so much easier. I would be more concerned about using teflon or other types of treated bakeware.
