I think there are about 17 years of Jesus' life that are unaccounted for. Meaning they are not explained to us in the Bible. We don't know where Jesus was, or what he was doing during this time.
What is the answer to this? Where was Our Lord? What was he doing?
What do historians say? What do faithful Christians say?
IS there an answer?

It was a Jewish custom during the time of Jesus for the first born to learn the trade of his father. So, my answer to your question is he grew up just like any normal Jewish kid. He was a carpenter and he must have saved up for his ministry.

During the greater part of his life Jesus shared the condition of the vast majority of human beings: a daily life spent without evident greatness, a life of manual labor. His religious life was that of a Jew obedient to the law of God,221 a life in the community. From this whole period it is revealed to us that Jesus was "obedient" to his parents and that he "increased in wisdom and in stature, and in favor with God and man."222
532
Jesus' obedience to his mother and legal father fulfills the fourth commandment perfectly and was the temporal image of his filial obedience to his Father in heaven. The everyday obedience of Jesus to Joseph and Mary both announced and anticipated the obedience of Holy Thursday: "Not my will. . . ."223 The obedience of Christ in the daily routine of his hidden life was already inaugurating his work of restoring what the disobedience of Adam had destroyed.224
Peace and every blessing!

He was working as a carpenter and supporting his family.
Mark 6:1 He went away from there and came to his hometown, and his disciples followed him. 2 And on the Sabbath he began to teach in the synagogue, and many who heard him were astonished, saying, "Where did this man get these things? What is the wisdom given to him? How are such mighty works done by his hands? 3 Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary and brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon? And are not his sisters here with us?" And they took offense at him.

Jesus did not financially have the means to have travelled to other countries, especially India, England, and China.
Jesus' was a skilled carpenter, receiving his trade, and training by his father Joseph.
He was a carenter in Israel until he was 30, then began his three and a half yr. teaching ministry.

The bible mentions that he went with his wealthy uncle to some tin mines his uncle owned in europe and he taught over there just like he did here. It was the same uncle that supplied the grave cave for Christs body . I think it was Joseph of Arimathea or something on that order.

He was living. Among us, as one of us. He was mourning and celebrating, eating and drinking, learning the things every young person learns. He was getting skinned knees and blisters on His palms from working in His earthly father's carpentry shop. Jesus knew us because He lived as one of us. That was a part of His glory: that He was both human and divine.

The Bible is silent there--I don'tnow why--but God does.
There is no evidences so there is nothing to condemn or condone.
