Yes, you should uninstall Reader 5, because you have the newer version, and you will save disk space. Don't be afraid, by uninstalling it you won't affect your computer. I was gonna suggest now download a newer version then notice you have Acrobat Reader 8 so delete 5 it won't harm your system.

It is an earlier version. If anything you should try and run the setup for version 8 just to make sure that you have the most current version.

Dump 5 its the software provider cd thats put it there, saying that next time you laod the driver
