you should ask your hairstylists what he or she recommends but i dont think it would hurt it as long as it is not right after

I would definately not do that. If you do too soon you will turn your hair green or worse. Definately wait and let your hair rest with the chemicals for a little while until you have had the chance to wash it a couple of times. Even after that you may have to use this stuff called no swim or chlorine boost. They will help wash the chlorine from your hair if you swim alot.

it is okay but you will want to cover your head with a swimming cap if your whole head is going to be immersed into the water. If your hair gets wet anyway wash it immediately and do a deep penetrating conditioning treatment but who wants to get their hair all dolled up to go and get in a swimming pool?

I suggest just using a hair straightener to straighten your hair.

i would think it would be ok on;y if you wait a day or 2 to make sure it will not do anything bad. but if it does it will just go back curly again.
