.....the atoms in a slice of cheese. I mean, dang, how many more times have I got to cut this thing down to size before I can see any of them?

You'll never see the atoms in a slice of cheese. Unless you happen to own a REALLY powerful microscope.

You dont see the atoms. Atoms are too small to be seen by the naked eye. In order to see them, you need to slice it really small and then look at it through a microscope
