When it comes to tattoos, are guys more able to part with their natural skin to attain full sleeves of ink more so than girls? I've noticed that girls are more apt to get a tattoo, yet guys are willing to go the distance when it comes to covering 100% of arms, legs, etc.... What's everyones thoughts? Are their girls out their with full sleeves?

I am female, and have a half sleeve.
The ONLY thing holding me from going and getting the full sleeves is my profession. You bet the day I retire, I'll have my sleeves. OR, if I become self employed.
I have dedicated myself with LARGE pieces, and have been under the needle in multiple 4+ hour sessions.
I don't think its trashy,I just believe that its so uncommon, that it's looked at as even more tabooish than a man with full sleeves.

I haven't seen lots of girls with full sleeves, but even if I had it doesnt look trashy at all,especially if it's done corectlly not just a bunch of things thrown together, but, intrictly placed it can be one of the most beautiful pieces of body art....
It's all about expression & what makes you happy...You can show your spirituality, political view, love life{or lack of one}and soooo many other things, that people shouldn't be judged by how they are on the outside, but if they are ugly on the inside. I think guys are not necesarily more willing to go throuhg it, its just there are more of them that have done it...But i know some girls who have considered it,but, just haven't found the right concept nor the right artist to pull it off hands down.

I'm right there with SkinDeep. Only I don't have sleeves...yet :) I am on my way to calf sleeves though. Like Skin, I am restricted only to what I can hide under clothing and I have rather large pieces to cover up. My artist is female and she has half sleeves so far. She's working on full sleeves...lol
I also agree with Skin in the way that it's just so rare to see a woman with full sleeves. It's a beautiful sight when I do see it :)

I've seen lots of girls with full sleeves, and to me, it doesnt look trashy at all, i think it is beautiful. It is such a great way to express yourself. You can show your spirituality, political view, and soooo many other things. I think people shouldnt be judged by how they are on the outside anyways, its if they are ugly on the inside. I think guys are not necesarily more apt to do it, its just there are more of them that have it done, but i know lots of girls who would consider it, or do it hands down. (including me!!!)

Absolutely...Full Body Suits Even..
The ladies seem to go with more
color..Not so harsh in style. There's
just more guy stuff out there. Fewer
lady artist than men all around the
globe. Most women are more likely
to be conservative. They take their
time deciding on what they want.
They want it done exactly right.
If you just get close to what a guy
is thinking he wants, he's satisfied.

I think it looks alright on guys, but on girls, it just looks trashy.
