Chrissy, look at it this way. God does not bring into our lives challenges like this unless He has a very good reason to do it. Think carefully. Are you a person who perhaps is proud? Do you think you're entitled to everything you want? Do you covet what others have? Are you jealous of others' blessings? Remember, this life is not about getting what we want for ourselves. It's about God refining us into the people He would have us be for His good purposes, both to serve on this planet while we live here, and in the next life.
Ask God what He would have you know about this situation. Pray to Him to show you what He wants you to learn and ask Him to give you wisdom and obedience to follow what He shows you.
Remember He promises He works all things for good for those who love Him. Stand on that promise and you will see why this has come your way.

I don't know. But I do know what it feels like to have a heart full of resentment torwards people. I am in that very situation. I am trying so hard to not feel these negative feelings because I know they are only hurting me. The only thing I can think of is pray to God for Him to take those feelings away, and be happy for your sister because she got something nice. And know that one day your turn will come. You could also focus on all the blessings God has given you and be thankful for those. =)

The best thing you can do is get out there, make as much money as you can, and buy yourself a car that's even better. You'll be doing yourself a favor then, because you know that you EARNED it, and the car will mean more to you. Your sister will be the one suffering in the long run, because kids that are overindulged by their parents generally grow up to be very unhappy adults who are never satisfied with anything, and always feel that the world OWES them something. Empower yourself. Your strength will give you happiness beyond anything a car can give you.

If you changed wife to property...
"Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's property"
Calm down over it. It's okay, really. It's just a car. A type of car. You may get a better one.
Besides. There are things you have your sister doesn't.

Ask your dad why he bought it for your sister. To get over being anry, jealous and hurt, you have to find out why he bought it for her. When you find out the reason you won't be so upset-I gaurantee it. Unless he says he bought it for her just to make you miserable. Seriously, ask him. email and tell me what he says, I can help with your feelings after you have the answer.

You're being selfish. Plain and simple. Why do you believe that you should have the car? Perhaps your sister wanted it badly as well.

Start thanking God for what you DO have!!! (This will cheer you up, too)
Remember, sometimes God doesn't give us what we want now, because He has something better in mind for us later.

Why do you feel you should have the car instead of your sister?

Well, that's the kind of thing that taught me to stop asking the Biblical god for help.
YMMV.
