Isn't everyone getting a little tired of fighting. Really I know I am why can't we put aside petty differences? All the religous conflicts going on right now are incredibly foolish. We fight each other based on what our culture taught us instead of trying to view things form another person's point of view. Where's the Love? Where's the the thought?

Good sediment. No possiblity it can happen. You will never be able to get some people to leave others alone or not try to control others. There will always be those who think it's ok to step on everyone in their path. There will always be those who can not forgive and teach the following generations to hate. You can not remove all the bad in man with ideology that has no substance.

I think many of us are ready for the world to unite. We're just waiting for the right person to rally us to the cause and lead the way. The main obstacle is that people don't consider their petty differences to be so petty.

The bible has that prediction. That is when the kind of Antichrist as described is the bible is come. The world will have peace without the Christians as the bible says. These people will be taken up. The left behind will be given a mark each formed as 666. These together with the Antichrist and his gang will wage war against God or Jesus. They will be vanquished. God or Jesus will be victorious. That is obvious. That will be a very short peace that will be the work of the Antichrist before he wages war with God or Jesus.

the only way the whole world will unite is if some country unites it by force. It would take a leader like an alexander the great or a julius caesar. I don't know about you but I don't see any great leaders around.

There was a series of books written by the authors of the Left Behind series that explored your question. It was a good read. The story unfolded as a world without religion. It was illegal...banned.
