I bought 4 whole fresh pineapples today and I need them to stay fresh until Saturday for a party. If I freeze them will it preserve them until then?

I am using them as centerpieces for the dinner tables and then giving them away as party gifts,so I have to leave them whole.

why not just put them in the fridge?

Yes. Make sure to wrap them in plastic bags to avoid freezer burn and ice build up. Turn down your freezer settings to LOW. Take the pineapples out the night before you want to serve.

the skin wiil go mushy buy new pineapples on saturday or better yet order them

ya just put it in a frezzer bag zip it and open it like and hour be4 ur party and bammm haaave a great time

You can freeze them. You would be better off cutting them and freezing them.
