California child care licensing?

I am considering doing child care in my home. Basically thinking of doing before and after care for elementary school ages. How would I go about getting certified and licensed in CA? Is there any online classes I could take?

Community Colleges have many classes dealing with early childhood development that are good. You should also check with the Red Cross on a good First Aid course as well.
