I wanna avoid to load some of my programs that load automaticly when windows is started

Go to Start>Run, then type "msconfig" and it will show up a window, go to the "Startup" section and you will se all the programs that start with Windows. Uncheck the programs you don't want, then click on "Apply", "OK" and Restart your PC. You will see a Message that says "some applications were changed... " or something like that, don't worry, this is normal because your PC automatically detect the changes you made and wants to confirm, just select "OK".

In Windows XP, go to Start menu > Run > type "msconfig" (without the quotation marks) > [Enter] > uncheck any programs you don't want to start automatically > [O.K.] > [Restart].
