cl Start, cl Settings, cl Taskbar and Start Menu.
cl Start Menu, cl Customize, cl Remove.

cl the icon for the program you wish to remove
then cl Remove.

There is also a “Disable All” button.
This will prevent the program from loading at startup, but will not remove the program from the hard disk.

A word of caution. Some of the programs running are Windows, antivirus, screensaver. If in doubt about any of items, leave them alone.

If you are running wallpaper and screensaver, see how much time you will save by resetting them to none or blank.

Well, depends on your level of skill. If you don't understand what I'm about to say, get a tech-savvy friend to help:

Clcik start>run>type "msconfig"> click the last tab>decide which programs you can live without. Then, next tiem your restart the computer yo uwill have to select "Don't show this box" or wahtever.

Again, DO NOT try to do this if your not sure. You can, with a click of your mouse, ruin the computer.

Many programs have that option from within the program itself. If not remove them from the startup folder.

Use autoruns utility from sysinternals.com. It is free and shows everything that is set to start automatically. You can disable and remove what you want.
