Actually, if I tend to think too highly of myself, I will break out the Elephant Man and take myself down a few notches. I thought all portrayals in that movie were top notch! I think it is the best film Mel Brooks has ever produced.

Oh My God that movie was sooo sad! I couldn't believe they treated a human being like that--beating him, putting him in the circus--I cant believe how damn mean some people are. But he did become an intelligent man of societry--and he was cute in his own way! I dont want to think aout it anymore--just know he's in Peace now.

No. That movie just reinforced to me that cruelty is a part of human nature. We all have picked on the ugly or retarded kid. We always ostracize the odd one out of the bunch. Even though these actions are natural, they are not acceptable.

yes, i did cry.
It's terrible to think that people are so ignorant to treat a human being this way.
The sad fact is, people are still treating people with disfigurations and diseases etc. this way and always will.
Those kind of people are the freaks because they are so ignorant!
