Right now im 19 (20 in may)
Im currently attending community college.
All I have is general education class credit.
After a period of time, I decided that I want to become a police officer.
If I stay at my community college, I will have only approxmently 1 1/2 year and I will recieve my A.A in Law Enforcement.
I would only be taking CJ classes, since I already compelted well beyond General Ed for my Community college.
Im getting sick of school, would rather just take classes that pertain to my major.
But on the other hand, if I transfer to a University, I will have at least 2 1/2 years before I will be able to get my B.A.
But I will have alot more Gen Ed classes, then the classes required for the major.
What should I do? Any advice?
Its the general education that is killing me, Id rather be doing something else.

Get a BA degree in something other then CJ, that is not a good degree to have if the law enforcement thing falls through or you decide to change careers several years from now. Find something else that interests you.

I know exactly how you feel. These GE classes are the killers! Because of them, many drop out of college; but that only makes it better for those who stay! You are on the right track. If you manage to get the bachelor's in Law Enforcement, you will be financially safe for the rest of your life! Whatever it takes, do transfer to a university! It will be a pain for few years, but this pain is nothing compared to all the bills that always WILL get paid because of your job in law enforcement that you will have no problems to get after you graduate. Transfer to a university whatever it takes!
Also, you don't have to wait for your AA in order to transfer. Complete just the required Math, English, and Speech/Health classes and transfer right away without completing your AA. Go straight for the bachelors. This will save you a lot of nerves and time, and you will have a very good job sooner this way.

Qualifications
In most countries, candidates for the police force must have completed some formal education. Increasing numbers of people are joining the police force who possess tertiary education and in response to this many police forces have developed a "fast-track" scheme whereby those with university degrees spend 2-3 years as a police constable before receiving promotion to higher ranks, such as sergeants, inspectors etc. (Officers who work within investigative divisions or plainclothes are not necessarily a higher rank but merely do a slightly different job.) Police officers are also recruited from those with experience in the military or security services. Most law enforcement agencies now have measurable physical fitness requirements for officers. In the United States, state laws may codify state-wide qualification standards regarding age, education, criminal record, and training but in other places requirements are set by local police agencies.
Police agencies are usually semi-military in organization, so that with specified experience or training qualifications officers become eligible for promotion to a higher supervisory rank, such as sergeant. Promotion is not automatic and usually requires the candidate to pass some kind of examination, interview board or other selection procedure. Although promotion normally includes an increase in salary, it also brings with it an increase in responsibility and for most, an increase in administrative paperwork.

well what you are doing is the right thing to do. my professor told me to not go for your B.A in CRJ because he siad you might become a cop and then realize later on that you dont want to do that and now you have this degree in this field and if you dont want to be in the field you will have a hard time finding a job. so only go for the B.A if your 100% positive that you want to be a cop. as for the community college classes your fine. the gen eds you took are ok. you can always do what im doing im applying to be a cop now and i still have some time left before im done with school but i want to get out there and do the job because im sick of school and also im going to make my dept pay for the rest of school it saves me money

Get the AA at least, many departments in real life will have to have a BS to get hired, since there are so many people applying.
Also often a mangement degree or a computer degree is considered a very good degree also
