a hook punch to the chin. This place is called the button. Most people get hit once there and they are out for the count. How easily this can be acomplish is another matter. Most people just don't stand there. Also, mr_gees does not condone violence unless is for sport reasons like the UFC. Why fight? It get you nowhere. in a fight somebody has to get hurt. That is the nature of a fight, to win by hurting the other person so that they don't want to fight no more.
That being said here are a couple more things that seem to work very well. Knee to the face or solar plexus. Punch to the solar plexus. Kick to the groin.

the answer is you cant, you can only incapacitate someone if unconsciousness follows then that's only by accident. but a palm strike to the temple will guarantee a very sore and subdued person. or a palm strike the the right upper orbit. one move that will seriously injure or possibly kill is to do a wrist lock on right arm, while doing that bring you knee up full blast under the persons chin. but under no assumption is it easy to knock anybody out, always be prepared to run!. 2 blokes i used to work with both handy with their fists, 1 bet the other he could knock the other out 10 quid was thrown down. 1 almighty punch to the face 2 missing teeth and a broken nose but he was still able to put the 10 quid he just won in his pocket.

If for some reason you find yourself threatened, and need to knock some out easily, punch them hard and quick in the adams apple. This won't knock them unconscious, but will give you time to escape. You can't fight without breath now can you?

According to a good source... here is the following info for you:
There is actually very little known about what exactly causes a knockout but many agree it has to do with minor trauma to the brain stem. This usually happens when the head rotates sharply, often caused by a strike. A common misconception is that a knockout is caused by compression put on the carotid arteries in the neck restricting blood flow, but this is in fact how a choke out works. [1] A basic principle of boxing is to defend against this vulnerability by keeping both hands raised about the face.
If a fighter suffers a concussion and becomes unconscious from a strike with sufficient knockout power, he or she is referred to as having been knocked out or kayoed (KO'd). In one such incidence, a professional boxer James "Savage" Still knocked out his opponent with his left hand, leaving the recepient knocked out on the floor. Losing balance without losing consciousness is referred to as being knocked down ("down but not out"). Repeated blows to the head are known to gradually cause permanent brain damage, with Alzheimer-like symptoms, and in severe cases may cause strokes or paralysis. Because of this, many physicians advise against sports involving knockouts.[2]

If you wish to use martial skills, you should earn them...
For nerve point blocking techniques, study "Di Maq" - good luck finding an instructor though :P
For good all round martial arts skills, you will need to learn many different styles and techniques, tihs will take time, and effort... if you're not willing to put the time and effort in, you will never have the discipline to use martial arts responsibly...
Martial arts isn't about fighting, a good friend of mine once taught me many things... including the wise old snipet... "make love not war."
Violence should be your last resort, and even then it should be used moderately:
Why kill, if you can maim?
Why maim, if you can incapacitate?
Why incapacitate, if you can merely stun?
Why stun, if you can scare?
Why scare if you can talk?
If you can't talk, why not just walk away?

There are many ways.. For instance, a hit to the back of the head is very easy to make someone blackout. A hit to the nose would cause their eyes To water up and bleeding to happen. A hit to their chest while they are fully exhaled can make them pass out. Extreme pain. A hard blow to the temple. Choking. Also, a hard blow right above the upper lip below into the nose can cause extreme bleeding. They may even die. Woot!

You don't, unless you really want to do jail time. martial artists are taught to gain control of the situation only, not render people unconscious. Never use more technique than is necessary to gain control and don't start the fight either. Walk away (or run).
