Teach your dog the "stay" command and with each training session gradually add more distractions. This is called "proofing" a dog and will teach him to focus on only you and not distractions. The key is to go very slowly with increasing the distractions and to exercise a lot of patience. You must be extremely consistent in not allowing him to break his stay until you release him. Much will depend on the dogs maturity and your training skills as to how quickly you achieve your goal.

Lots of training! Start by teaching them a watch me command. It teaches them that whenever you say "Watch me" they look at you and stay focused on you. It is really easy to teach. Take a treat in your hand, put the treat in front of your dogs nose, once the dog locks on, bring treat up to the corner of your eye, and say "Watch me". As soon as the dog looks in your direction give treat and praise. Practice this many times a day. Once your dog gets really good, start leaving that treat up by your eye for several seconds at a time. Soon your dog will be more than happy to pay attention to you no matter what!

if you mean focus on you like look at you, they cant!!
dogs cannot look at people in the eye
if they do they will look away or get reeeeeaaalllly mad
but if you are talking about the toy, take the toy from them, hide it behind your back and look at him, he will look at you and maybe spend more attention with you!!!
good luck
P.S what kind of dog do you have??
